ASSA: Headlights is the only newsletter of its kind in Australasia, collating surgical opportunities in Australia and New Zealand as well as providing a platform for students to share their passion for surgery – be it opinion pieces, research articles or creative work. This issue serves as an introduction to ASSA and our vision for the publication – it is therefore open-access.
